Senior Modern Workplace Engineer

Proclinical is currently seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer for one of our exclusive clients and in this role, you will plan, implement, and manage modern workplace solutions, optimizing IT infrastructure and technical services through standardization, modularization, and automation. You will support and troubleshoot technical issues, implement security measures, collaborate with other departments, and stay updated with the latest technology to recommend improvements.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Modern Workplace Solutions: Responsible for conceiving, introducing, developing, and supporting tools and platforms for a modern, flexible work environment.
• IT infrastructure: Ensure continuous improvement of the modern workplace, ensuring all devices and software work together seamlessly.
• Services Optimization: Make technical services scalable and replicable through standardization, modularization, and automation (IaC, CaC)
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for technical issues and ensure smooth operation of the work environment.
• Security Management: Implement security policies and measures to protect customer data and corporate resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to understand and implement modern workplace requirements.
• Technology: Stay updated with the latest technology and propose new solutions to enhance the modern workplace.

Skillsets & Experience:

• Understanding of how an IT service provider works is crucial.
• Experience in engineering Modern Workplace solutions, particularly with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Azure AD.
• Deep knowledge of implementing and managing collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Experience in managing endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) and deploying security solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of service orientation.
• Fluent in both written, spoken German and English
