Senior MES Engineer

Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior MES Engineer to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Visp.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and align with the product and production-specific needs in collaboration with the accountable plant team and with the international and local engineering team.
• Guarantee that the cGMP-compliant documentation such as Validation, SOP, etc., is in collaboration with the plant EMR engineer and system group.
• You will aid and troubleshoot technical problems of the current MES systems on site.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to guarantee the stability and optimal performance of the MES Syncade system.
• Develop and optimise electronic work instructions, behaviours and function modules.
• Consistently improving processes and procedures within compliance of the safety, hygiene, environmental quality needs within the area of responsibility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Able to identify risks connecting to security or compliance with good GMP expertise.
• An organised individual with a structured and focused work ethic and the ability to resolve issues.
• Open-minded to new concepts.
• Educated to a degree (or higher) in a pertinent engineering field such as electrical, IT, automation, etc.
• Recipe Writing is not essential but desirable.
• Expertise on Syncade architecture, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in the English language.
