Senior Data Scientist / Senior Software Technology Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a dynamic individual to lead innovation in Machine Learning and MLOps within the Machine Learning and Simulation group. This role involves evaluating market trends, gathering feedback from various stakeholders, and developing innovative proof of concepts. You will also foster academic collaborations and guide students in their research endeavours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new product innovations or software technologies in AI, Data Science, and MLOps.
• Support projects by integrating new technologies and innovations.
• Manage and present innovation projects to R&D and product management teams.
• Mentor students, providing guidance on thesis projects and practical work.
• Attend conferences to identify emerging technologies.
• Establish partnerships with universities and research institutes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Data Science using Python and Machine Learning frameworks, including cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern software technologies and concepts.
• Experience in developing C# / .NET Framework applications.
• Additional education in liquid handling, robotics, or bi-pharma, forensics, and diagnostics is advantageous.
• Experience in mentoring young professionals is beneficial.
