Senior BI Entwickler Microsoft

Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior BI Entwickler Microsoft to join a consultancy. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Zurich.

Responsibilities:

• Execute modern cube solutions based on Microsoft technology such as SSAS and design dimensional mart models using the Kimball strategy.
• Produce meaningful reports/dashboards using PowerBI.
• Contribute to the entire development chain in the data warehouse to partake such as in SSIS, TSQL, WhereScape, DataVault, etc.
• Assist with the analysis of the data and collaborate with the numerous specialist divisions.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a business informatics field or corresponding training.
• Demonstrable experience within the DWH/BI setting within larger organisations, preferably with familiarity in the insurance of financial services organisation.
• Computer and software literacy such as SSAS, MDX, as well as in dimensional data modelling such as Kimball.
• Acquaintance with Microsoft BI technologies such as SSIS, T-SQL, SSRS and PowerBI, as well as in data modelling such as DataVault which would be beneficial.
• Capable of taking the initiative.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Works well in a team with expertise in taking an agile approach to tasks.
• Fluency in German with knowledge in English.
