Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialist - Permanent - New York City
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialist for a permanent position based in Upper Manhattan, New York City, United States.
While all candidate profiles are considered, Biologics or Respiratory Biologics experience is ideal.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging healthcare professionals in meaningful conversation about clinical evidence, approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for Respiratory Biologics. The role requires a high degree of sales proficiency to drive sales performance and meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven working knowledge in documented, successful pharmaceutical or/and biotech sales experience OR experience in a relevant environment OR demonstrated experience & knowledge within healthcare ecosystems.
- Proven ability to engage key stakeholders in complex clinical environments.
- Strong scientific acumen in a highly competitive environment.
- Understanding of the reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
The Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialist's responsibilities will be:
- Create and maintain superior product and disease state knowledge.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed expectations.
- Implement strategic targeting plans in order to capitalize on formulary approvals.
- Recognise business opportunities, present value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommend solutions to drive and develop business.
- Provide special education to healthcare providers within ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with other Respiratory Biologics Sales Specialists to coordinate selling efforts.
- Consistently challenge yourself to grow and develop, seek feedback to gain insight into strengths and developmental needs.
