At Proclinical, we are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, based in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will develop breakthrough immunotherapy treatments for patients with cancer by identifying and deploying neoantigens from tumors, developing personalized cancer vaccines.
Responsibilities
- Execute established nucleic acid extraction and next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based cancer genomics workflows including exome and transcriptome sequencing in a cGMP environment.
- Maintain batch record reports, consumable inventory, equipment maintenance and calibration to maintain quality control and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
- BA in a related scientific field and 3+ years relevant experience.
- Strong background in molecular biology and associated general laboratory techniques.
- Histology experience.
- Familiarity with NGS workflows including nucleic acid extraction from various tissue specimens Illumina-based library construction, and hybrid capture enrichment.
- Operation and maintenance of instrumentation critical for Illumina NGS workflows.
- CLIA/CAP or cGMP experience.
- Experience working with automated liquid handling.
- Experience working with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
