Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Research Associate with a pharmaceutical company located in New Haven, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

Mammalian cell culture
Maintaining cell culture working stocks
Transient transfections; 2 mL to 20 L
Harvest; supernatant clarification
Maintaining laboratory inventory
Record keeping

Skills and Requirements:

B.S.in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology or other biomedical science
3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
Mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
Transient expression of recombinant proteins
SDS-PAGE
Protein quantification
DNA/protein sequence databases
Ability to work with some supervision
Excellent communication/ collaboration skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
