Research Associate

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Research Associate with a pharmaceutical company located in New Haven, CT.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mammalian cell culture
• Maintaining cell culture working stocks
• Transient transfections; 2 mL to 20 L
• Harvest; supernatant clarification
• Maintaining laboratory inventory
• Record keeping

Skills and Requirements:

• B.S.in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology or other biomedical science
• 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
• Mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique
• Transient expression of recombinant proteins
• SDS-PAGE
• Protein quantification
• DNA/protein sequence databases
• Ability to work with some supervision
• Excellent communication/ collaboration skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
