Research Associate - Anti Ageing

Proclinical is seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Research Intern for an exciting opportunity in the field of health aging research. This role offers a unique chance to delve into the forefront of scientific advancements that aim to improve human health-span and longevity. As part of the team, the successful candidate will monitor and summarise the latest developments in these fields, providing valuable insights to support the leadership team in making informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Read, synthesize and critically assess key findings from relevant scientific articles.
• Identify the best practices for improving health-span and promoting longevity based on scientific evidence.
• View and review podcasts, webinars and other media focused on anti-ageing in order for the company to evolve.
• Ensure the company stays up to date with the latest trends, research and breakthroughs in the scientific field.
• Prepare informative summaries, ensuring these are concise for the leadership team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss any findings and insights from discoveries.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Current undergraduate or recent graduate in a related degree (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Life Sciences, or similar).
• Strong interest in anti-aging and healthy longevity research.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in researching, reading and interpreting scientific literature using relevant search engines and databases.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and organised individual with the ability to work independently.
