Proclinical is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support analytical testing across multiple products, playing a crucial part in the execution and delivery of testing plans. Your work will involve supporting test and release of priority lots, structured problem solving, and providing technical support for laboratory investigations.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of finished products using various techniques for solid oral dosage, sterile, and biologic products.
- Review analytical data and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and protocols.
- Support reviews and investigations for out-of-trend or out-of-specification results.
- Participate in validation and commercial/developmental manufacturing activities.
- Troubleshoot standard instrumentation and test methods.
- Coordinate waste management, LEAN/Operational excellence, and 5S efforts.
- Engage in QC and cross-functional projects as needed.
- Assist in training QC staff.
- Write and revise methods, specifications, and SOPs as necessary.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience with chromatographic separations, particularly UPLC/HPLC and Empower.
- Strong technical writing skills for protocols, reports, and procedures.
- Ability to analyze data logically for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of GMPs, GLPs, pharmacopoeial, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical testing and validation.
- BSc degree in Analytical Biochemistry or equivalent.
