Publications Manager - Permanent - Princeton, New Jersey

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Publications Manager. This is a permanent position based in Princeton, New Jersey and is a hybrid role.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and compliant development and execution of publication plans across assigned therapies and therapeutic areas. This role involves tracking, updating, reporting and communicating publication projects and deliverables. The Publications Manager will leverage their technical experience and understanding of the organisation and its processes to guide the successful completion of key publications.

Skills & Requirements:

  • An MS, MD, or PhD in a Life Science or a PharmD.
  • Strong knowledge of the production of publications.
  • Expert knowledge of basic disease and therapeutic areas including diabetes, obesity and rare diseases.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and drug development processes.
  • Proficiency in the use and understanding of computer software including word processing, graphics and document management.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

The Publications Manager's responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and update publication strategies and plans in alignment with global and medical strategies.
  • Execute and report on publication plan activities.
  • Interact with local and global publication groups, journals, editors, authors, and others to ensure the successful completion of publication projects.
  • Manage agency partners and other external stakeholders involved in developing and submitting publications.
  • Prepare and review manuscripts, meeting abstracts, scientific poster presentations.
  • Plan author meetings and participate in PPG functions as needed.
  • Coordinate, prepare, manage, and track author engagements.
  • Manage, track, and report publication budget and vendor deliverables for assigned therapeutic areas/therapies.

Compensation:

  • $59.03 per hour
