Proclinical is seeking an Associate Director for Product and Corporate Communications.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies, focusing on both branded and unbranded programs for investigational compounds and approved medications. This position requires a collaborative approach and a strong desire to contribute to a growth-oriented culture within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in public relations, corporate communications, or business unit communications, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biotech.
  • Familiarity with FDA approvals and new product launches.
  • Experience with internal communications and corporate social media strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Veeva and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 15-20% and maintain office presence in Florham Park, NJ.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in infectious and/or rare diseases.
  • Proficiency in media strategy and relations.
  • Understanding of U.S. regulatory pathways and clinical study design.
  • Experience with FDA advisory committee meetings and product launches.

The Associate Director's responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute external communications programs for investigational and approved drugs.
  • Manage communications for a Phase 3 investigational drug, including regulatory milestones and advocacy engagement.
  • Collaborate with global teams in Europe and Asia for coordinated communications efforts.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of various communication materials such as press releases and social media content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with reporters, patient advocates, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Act as a strategic partner to product brand teams.
  • Work closely with medical, legal, and regulatory colleagues to address brand-related issues proactively.
  • Engage with key media outlets and manage communication agencies and budgets.

Compensation:

  • $160 000.00 - $180 000.00 Per Annum
