Proclinical is seeking a Procurement & Planning SME to join our client's team in Neuchatel, Switzerland. This role focuses on managing materials and coordinating planning activities to ensure smooth operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire process from order creation to receipt and ensuring effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

Keep delivery schedules up to date and manage the entire order process.
Communicate directly with suppliers to approve or modify orders.
Provide updates on stock levels to other departments to assist in their planning.
Initiate escalation procedures when issues arise, such as delayed orders or low stock levels.
Lead daily meetings to discuss raw material needs and assign tasks as needed.
Analyze system messages and create new orders when necessary.
Work on improving processes and creating helpful guides for supply chain activities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

A degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments.
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
Advanced English language skills.
