Proclinical is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support a global initiative focused on enhancing payment terms governance, improving data integrity, and identifying opportunities for working capital optimization. This role involves reconciling supplier payment terms, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to the development of supplier renegotiation pipelines. You will also play a key role in promoting organizational awareness of payment terms standards through documentation and training.
This is a project-based role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration across Procurement, Master Data, and Accounts Payable functions.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile supplier payment terms in SAP with contractual agreements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure data quality by maintaining accurate reconciliation documentation and recommending process improvements.
- Analyze supplier portfolios to identify vendors with non-compliant payment terms and prioritize renegotiation opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights to Procurement Category Managers and track renegotiation progress.
- Develop reports and KPIs to monitor payment terms alignment, policy compliance, and business impact.
- Support initiatives to strengthen payment terms governance, including creating training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and resolve payment terms discrepancies and support supplier negotiations.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Experience with SAP MM and/or FI modules preferred.
- Familiarity with Source-to-Contract platforms such as Jaggaer, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Strong analytical and data reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable working in both structured and evolving project environments.
- Project management experience is a plus.
