Principal Associate Scientist for Analytical Development - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is actively seeking a Principal Associate Scientist. This is a temporary contract position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, MA.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is primarily focused on the initial characterization testing, annual re-qualification, and trending of early-phase siRNA reference materials. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating the aliquoting and shipping of materials, maintaining an accurate inventory, and contributing data to regulatory submissions.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly with pH, Osmolality, and UV Assay techniques.
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.

The Principal Associate Scientist for Analytical Development's responsibilities will be:

• Conduct initial characterization testing, annual re-qualification, and trending of early-phase siRNA reference materials.
• Perform in-house characterization, qualification, and re-qualification testing of early phase reference materials.
• Handle requests from external contract labs/CMOs and internally to ensure smooth testing and supply processes.
• Coordinate the aliquoting and shipping of materials.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of reference materials.
• Generate and review reference material Certificates of Testing, characterization protocols, and reports.
• Contribute data to characterization and structure elucidation sections of regulatory submissions.
• Perform testing or data analysis of siRNA utilizing analytical techniques such as pH, Osmolality, and UV Assay.
• Assist with troubleshooting as needed.

Compensation:

• $60 - $63 per hour
