Preclinical Program Manager - CNS/Ophthalmology - Permanent - Remote
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual for the role of Preclinical Program Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on the planning, execution, and evaluation of scientific programs, from preclinical to translational stages. The successful candidate you will provide scientific expertise and guidance to internal teams, promote collaboration, swiftly resolve emergent issues, and implement best practices to optimize program efficiency.
Skills & Requirements:
- MS/PharmD/PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry.
- Experience within preclinical stage ophthalmic and/or neurology is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and experience working within development of preclinical through translational stage clinical studies.
- Understanding of FDA and ICH GCP guidelines.
- Proven problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer relationship management.
- Ability to collaborate across functional areas and geographic boundaries.
The Preclinical Program Manager - CNS/Ophthalmology responsibilities will be:
Provide strategic direction and oversight for assigned biopharmaceutical programs.- Apply evolving scientific information to program design and lead discussions with key thought leaders.
- Collaborate with team members across different functions to ensure seamless coordination of efforts.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify potential risks and issues and proactively implement mitigation plans.
- Respond quickly and effectively to unexpected challenges or urgent issues.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Work with department leads to allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure that programs adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Maintain comprehensive program documentation.
