Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time In Vivo Research Associate to contribute to the In Vivo Pharmacology & Biomarker Discovery team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be focused on supporting in vivo studies with an emphasis on animal welfare and precise execution of research protocols.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in a life science field (e.g., Biology, Pharmacology, Veterinary Science).
- Proficiency in standard dosing techniques (PO, IP, IV, SC).
- Skilled in both non-terminal and terminal blood collection and tissue harvest.
- Ability to work independently on weekends and adapt hours to study needs.
- Team-oriented, communicative, and motivated to support team goals.
The In Vivo Research Associate's responsibilities will be:
- Provide hands-on support for in vivo studies in mice, including routine dosing (PO, IP, IV, SC).
- Conduct blood collection through various methods such as submandibular, submental, and terminal cardiac bleeds.
- Perform necropsies with full tissue harvest and collect tissue weights.
- Monitor body weight and animal health during studies.
- Prepare necessary supplies for studies.
- Collaborate with study leads to manage scheduling, dosing logistics, and study execution.
- Accurately document procedures and observations in study sheets.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and institutional protocols, adhering to all regulations and procedures.
Compensation:
- $40.00 - $50.00 Per Hour
