Proclinical is seeking a Sample Management Associate to support the efficient handling, organization, and disposal of clinical and non-clinical samples.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be involved in utilizing software systems and Excel expertise to manage data, resolve issues, and contribute to research initiatives with accuracy and timeliness.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas.
- Familiarity with software systems such as LIMS and ELN.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage high-priority tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to safety and compliance in a laboratory setting.
The Sample Management Associate's responsibilities will be:
- Support large-scale sample destruction efforts and reorganize storage for efficient retrieval and disposal of samples.
- Optimize storage systems, including defragmentation of storage spaces created by sample removal.
- Manage specimen data using applicable software systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN).
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, with occasional support.
- Identify and resolve routine sample management issues.
- Complete high-priority and high-volume tasks accurately and within deadlines.
- Receive and log clinical and non-clinical samples, ensuring proper organization.
- Fulfill sample requests to support bioanalysis deliverables and research initiatives.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Maintain clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and applicable regulations, maintaining proper documentation.
- Uphold safety standards in the laboratory for self, co-workers, and visitors.
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
