Population Health Insights Lead for Population Health Group

Proclinical is seeking a Population Health Insights Lead to join our client's team in Basel. In this role, you will provide expert epidemiological insights to support patient population forecasts and strategic planning. Your work will focus on generating and managing data for access initiatives across various disease areas.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Develop R packages to transition from Excel to R-based model development.
• Analyze diverse data sources, including Real-World Data and population health datasets.
• Identify and utilize high-quality epidemiological data for forecasting models.
• Assist in training the team on R packages and codes.
• Engage with stakeholders on treatment impact models for decision-making.
• Enhance Global Access by identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain internal access and epidemiology infrastructure for research.
• Collaborate strategically across functions and with external stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree in epidemiology or related field with post-graduate qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical programs like R or SAS.
• Strong understanding of epidemiological principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of national and international health statistics and surveys.
• Familiarity with evidence synthesis methods such as meta-analyses.
• Experience in designing and interpreting epidemiological studies or RWD studies.
• Preferred experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
