Proclinical is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join a dynamic team in Southern Germany. This role focuses on engaging with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in therapeutic areas such as ICU, ER, toxicology, oncology, autoimmune diseases, and biologics/biosimilars. You will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical practice through scientific exchange, medical education, and support for product launches. This is a field-based position with opportunities for professional growth and visibility within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs across hospitals and university centers.
  • Engage with specialists in ICU, ER, toxicology, oncology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, osteology, osteoporosis, and autoimmune diseases.
  • Deliver scientific exchange and tailored medical education to meet clinical practice needs.
  • Support clinical studies, advisory boards, congresses, symposia, and investigator meetings.
  • Develop abstracts, posters, and other medical materials; respond to medical inquiries.
  • Provide scientific training and support to cross-functional and field teams.
  • Contribute to the launch of biosimilar and biologic products, including Adalimumab, Tocilizumab, Ustekinumab, and Denosumab.
  • Gather and communicate clinical insights to inform medical strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, and internal medical governance standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PhD, Dr. rer. nat.) in molecular biology, pharmacology, oncology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience as an MSL or Field Medical Advisor in hospital-focused therapeutic areas.
  • Strong knowledge of the German medical landscape, including hospitals and scientific societies, with a preference for expertise in hematology-oncology.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as oncology, autoimmune diseases, rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, osteology, osteoporosis, and biologics/biosimilars.
  • Background in clinical research, CRA activities, or regulatory exposure (e.g., BfArM).
  • Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently across a large hospital territory.
  • Fluent in German; proficiency in English is preferred.
  • Based in Southern Germany, ideally near a major city or international airport.
