Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Scientist to join an MSAT Cell Process team. This role works closely with the Process Development and GMP Manufacturing departments, contributing to the development of CAR-Treg therapies and the improvement of next-generation products. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our mission in a dynamic environment focused on developing cutting-edge Treg therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and practical capacity to the MSAT (Cell Process) team.
- Help with designing, controlling, optimising, and assessing processes in a GMP environment.
- Lead tasks related to MSAT across a variety of projects, providing technical leadership.
- Keep detailed documentation up to date and establish relevant SOPs.
- Collaborate and coordinate work with other teams to meet deadlines and goals.
- Support external collaborations as a subject matter expert in immunology.
- Support Tech transfer activities both within and outside the organization.
- Support root cause analysis and assess non-product quality impacting deviations.
- Author and review batch records, bill of materials, and change controls.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Practical experience implementing design of experiments to develop processes.
- Solid understanding of immunology and cell therapy.
- Demonstrable expertise in cell-based techniques, including flow cytometry.
- Good understanding of working with quality management systems (e.g., Q-Pulse).
- Knowledge of tech transfer and experience working with CDMOs is desirable.
- Previous experience working with GMP equipment.
- Ability to perform experiments independently.
- BSc degree in a relevant study field and relevant industry experience. MSc is beneficial.
