Looking for an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring life-changing biopharmaceutical products are delivered on time and in full?

Proclinical is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to support production planning, scheduling, and changeover activities at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing site. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed daily production schedules and medium-term production plans for clinical and commercial programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource requirements are met, constraints are addressed, and project timelines are achieved. This position also supports facility readiness, maintenance projects, and changeover activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain daily production schedules and medium-term production plans.
  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and product changeover timelines to meet production demands.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to track progress and update schedules as needed.
  • Support facility project schedules, including shutdowns, commissioning, validation, and maintenance activities.
  • Proactively identify and communicate constraints, offering alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Drive issue resolution to ensure project success and provide status updates to the team and management.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educational background in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated industry, with a strong understanding of protein biologics manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in planning and scheduling within a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively share updates and resolve process issues.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Skilled in influencing without authority and fostering collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Infor or Oracle.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including macros).
