Proclinical is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a contract role in Switzerland. This position focuses on ensuring the smooth supply of materials to production facilities, managing logistics data, and supporting production planning. The role requires a proactive approach to material management and coordination with various departments.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous supply of materials to production facilities.
  • Manage material logistics and data within the MES system.
  • Prepare and provide materials for production, from internal receipt to weighing.
  • Support and implement production planning.
  • Conduct material openings and create sampling instructions.
  • Coordinate goods receipt, material release, and special approvals.
  • Maintain internal material management systems (MES, SAP, LIMS).
  • Oversee internal product storage, cold chain, and shipping logistics.
  • Assist in creating shipping agreements.
  • Support project cost planning and material accounting.
  • Lead and manage the weighing team.
  • Coordinate between Ibex and the responsible dispatcher.
  • Compile material consumption statistics for project teams and clients.
  • Develop SOPs within the area of responsibility.
  • Present the area of responsibility during client audits and inspections.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of logistics with good SAP knowledge and IT affinity.
  • Background in logistics, business, or IT.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal interfaces (Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and Engineering).
  • Solution-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills for complex projects.
  • Strong team and social skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in German (minimum C1); English is advantageous.
  • On-site work required; no home office option.
  • Possibility of contract extension.
