Laboratory IT Support

Proclinical are recruiting a Laboratory IT Support for a global biotech organization. This role is on a contract basis and located in Zug, Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage algorithm transfer process for several Lifecycle Teams
• Interface with other departments, such as System Integration and Software Development, in order to implement result calling algorithm
• Align with other Molecular Diagnostics locations on their algorithm parameter optimization activities
• Coordination of Stakeholder meetings - Algo Board Meeting
• Coordination of the Colibri PowerUser team Rotkreuz
• Perform user acceptance testing and communicate new releases of Colibri
• Training coordination for Colibri tool training
• First point of contact for user feedback and troubleshooting
• Ensure the delivery of timely and good quality documentation
• Proactively identify process issues impacting efficiency and find solutions
• Improve how processes are lived in Development, actively participate and drive process
• Improvement initiatives
• Information gathering from respective stakeholders including consolidation of information
• Independent execution of work packages within area of responsibility
• Organize and manage their own time within scope of assigned work packages
• Applying agile working processes

Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in a life science discipline, technical schooling or equivalent ****
• 3+ years knowledge in PCR-methodology or technical background combined with problem solving skills and a "will-do" attitude ****
• Ability to work independently, handling cross-departmental tasks ***
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and German *****
• Strong analytical and interdisciplinary thinking ***
• Colibri software experience
