Proclinical is seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) in Hematology to join a dynamic team based in the Germany. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in hospitals to enhance access to products within key accounts. This position is ideal for someone passionate about hematology and rare diseases, with a strong ability to collaborate across functions and deliver impactful results.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain professional relationships with office-based and hospital hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, and other relevant healthcare personnel.
- Promote a positive image of the company among key customer groups.
- Analyze the assigned area to identify and develop key centers for the rare disease PNH.
- Provide educational and commercial support to physicians and pharmacies.
- Drive product sales in alignment with marketing and sales strategies while adhering to legal and compliance guidelines.
- Plan, organize, and execute local educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), and Account Management.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting in the CRM database and provide updates to senior management.
- Collect and report pharmacovigilance information in line with internal procedures.
- Represent the territory during reviews, account planning discussions, and at national/international events and congresses.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the orphan market, or a Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field with a strong sales mindset.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in managing scientific events and projects.
- Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare providers in both community and academic settings.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations within the country.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the territory, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
