ICT Security Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and quality-conscious ICT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our commitment to improving prevention, diagnosis, and therapy in the field of laboratory medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring security policies and procedures for our IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient well-being and medical progress.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop, implement and monitor the security policies, procedures and tools for the IT systems on-premises and in the cloud
• They ensure secure ICT operations through the further development of processes and ICT monitoring tools
• You advise internal departments on security issues (risks, projects, concepts, architectures)
• They monitor and analyse security events and conduct regular audits and forensic investigations
• They ensure compliance with security standards in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• They promote security awareness in the handling of sensitive data among employees through training and prevention campaigns

You bring with you:

• Higher education in computer science, information security and certifications such as CISSP, CISM or similar are an advantage.
• Several years of professional experience in the field of security surgery, ideally in a regulated environment such as the medical industry
• In-depth knowledge of network and system security and common security tools and technologies
• Ability to analyse complex security issues and develop effective solutions
• Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English and French is an advantage
