Head of Marketing

An exciting pharmaceutical company in Shanghai is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Marketing professional to join them as their Head of Marketing. They've a strong pipeline of Diabetes drugs, with some molecules in late stages of clinical trials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with cross-functional partners including R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Communications etc, to successfully navigate internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers
• Provide commercial leadership on marketing activities including long and short-range business strategies, planning, portfolio valuations, development of indication strategy and messaging, operating budget and forecasting and launch readiness projects
• Lead initiatives to assess commercial values, competitive landscapes and market differentiations, incorporating KOL advice to develop and communicate priorities for resource allocation
• Build a marketing team to support and develop the function in the company
• Be a strong partner with Business Development to provide timely and robust commercial input for BD opportunities

Skills and Requirements:

• Demonstrated successful product launch experience
• Diabetes portfolio preferred
• Working knowledge of clinical trials
• Strong people management / leadership experience preferred
• Minimum 7 years of relevant pharmaceutical marketing experience
• Degree or advanced degree(s) in Life Sciences required
