Proclinical is seeking a Global Launch Manager to join its growing team. This strategic role is responsible for leading end-to-end global product launches, ensuring products reach the right markets at the right time while aligning cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence. This role is based in Central Germany.
This position offers the opportunity to shape global launch strategies, enhance governance frameworks, and contribute to business growth across multiple international regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end global product launches, from technical readiness through to commercial execution and handover to local teams.
- Act as the central coordination point between global functions and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all workstreams.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve key launch milestones and readiness targets.
- Identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate critical issues to senior management when required.
- Own and maintain launch tracking and portfolio reporting tools, ensuring transparency on timelines and progress.
- Facilitate governance and review meetings, providing structured updates to senior leadership.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations to capture insights and continuously improve future launch performance.
- Contribute to the enhancement of launch processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams across manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial functions.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience, including significant experience in pharmaceutical project or launch management.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional product launches in international environments.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, including technical and commercial readiness.
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working within matrix organizations and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with portfolio management, PMO frameworks, or commercial operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
