Proclinical are recruiting for a Global HTA Biostatistician to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Partake in the preparation of written reports to comment on the outcomes of HTA reviews.
  • Uphold and further evolve expertise on regulatory and European HTA regulations, needs, and respective statistical strategies.
  • Collaborate with HEOR economic modelling and assist with statistical modelling actions dedicated to pricing and reimbursement proposals.
  • Implement analysis, exploratory and post-hoc analysis of data from clinical trials.
  • Cooperate with cross-functional teams to assure that the analysis and reporting of data are precise and complete in a timely manner.
  • Distribute statistical inputs within the study design, such as elements like endpoints, subgroups, additional analysis, etc.
  • Perform statistical analysis of clinical trials, prepare tables, listings, figures and reports that comply with regulatory authority and European HTA regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to an advanced degree level in a statistics or biostatistics field.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a pharmaceutical organisation focusing on HTA or reimbursement proposals to authorities such as G-BA or HAS.
  • Expertise and comprehension of statistical strategies and regulatory guidelines for clinical trials and HRTA proposals in Europe.
  • Knowledge of advanced SAS programming, as well as of CDISC standards such as STDM, ADAM, etc.
  • Comprehension of the fundamentals of HTA - remit, procedures, vocabulary, trends and the analytical approaches used in HTA.
  • Capable of producing a solid evidence package and synthesis difference sources of data, such as how RCT data can be used in HTA alongside other data, how different data sources can fit together to build a "value story".
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Works well in a team with the ability to handle various projects concurrently.
  • A high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and meet tight timelines.
