Global Head of Engineering

Proclinical is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead and drive engineering excellence across a global manufacturing network. This strategic leadership role focuses on transformation, reliability, governance, and capability building within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The position involves overseeing engineering teams across multiple sites and ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for global engineering projects, maintenance programs, and long-term asset management initiatives.
• Lead global process safety governance, ensuring compliance, robust standards, and best practices across all sites.
• Drive operational technology (OT) and digital transformation initiatives to modernize and enhance connectivity and efficiency.
• Strengthen asset reliability and performance, oversee capital planning (CapEx), and implement global frameworks for standardization and continuous improvement.
• Support and coach engineering teams across multiple manufacturing sites globally, ensuring consistent performance and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with site and corporate teams to ensure alignment and compliance with organizational objectives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Expertise in API and pharmaceutical engineering.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-country engineering operations.
• Strong knowledge of global engineering governance, process safety, and CapEx planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
• Experience in operational technology, automation, or digital engineering is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
