Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to oversee and deliver a portfolio of clinical trials with a focus on quality, compliance, and timely execution. In this role, you will lead a small team, ensuring adherence to protocol requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to foster collaboration among stakeholders and drive successful trial outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage clinical trials to meet sponsor and protocol requirements within agreed timelines.
  • Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure the achievement of project objectives.
  • Ensure clinical trial execution aligns with applicable regulations, GCP guidelines, and internal SOPs.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between sponsors, CROs, and study teams.
  • Clearly define stakeholder responsibilities, study requirements, and key milestones.
  • Support the continuous improvement of clinical trial management processes and tools.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a clinical trial team to achieve high performance.
  • Provide training and empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to ensure successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Ensure team compliance with site-specific policies, procedures, and training requirements.
  • Pursue personal development and maintain up-to-date training records.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as discussed with the line manager or management.

  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessment techniques and IT systems, including MS Office.
  • Solid project management skills to handle multiple projects and resources.
  • Tertiary qualifications in health, social, or biological sciences.
  • Knowledge of HREC and RGO processes, GCP, and NHMRC guidelines.
  • Experience managing clinical studies, preferably in early-phase research.
  • Team management experience in a clinical research setting.
