Clinical Evaluation Associate

Proclinical is working with a biotechnology company that specialises in dentistry implants. The company, based in Switzerland, is looking to hire a Clinical Evaluation Associate on a permanent basis.

Job Role:

This role in the Clinical Research department involves clinically evaluating the safety and performance of products according to MEDDEV 2.7.1, in addition to conducting literature searches. It is also requiring participation in other design-control activities such as risk assessment and the review of Instructions for Use. The Clinical Evaluation Associate role plays a significant part in both the development of new products and in the management of lifecycle projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Writing clinical evaluation plans and reports according to the MEDDEV 2.7.1 guideline
• Working cross-functionally with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, Launch Team and Marketing on pipeline and lifecycle projects
• Reviewing input for the Clinical Evaluation Report (technical file documents, marketing claims, post-market surveillance data)
• Identifying and screening business and product relevant scientific literature
• Analyzing and interpreting study results and compiling literature search reports for regulatory submissions
• Supporting other departments with clinical content and knowledge

Job Requirements:

• Higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline, dental knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in Clinical Evaluation Report writing in a medical device industry setting
• Understanding of global clinical processes and clinical investigation design in the course of product development for medical devices (ISO 14155)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to face complex problems and identify adequate solutions with a cross functional impact
• Fluent in written and spoken English, any other language is an asset
