CISO

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our small but growing security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding the security architecture, creating IT security policies, and managing IT security systems. This role also involves advising internal departments on security issues and supporting incident response activities.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 2 IT security professionals.
- Develop and expand the security architecture, including concepts and processes.
- Create IT security policies and decision-making bases for the introduction of new security components.
- Oversee the operation and further development of IT security systems.
- Manage Cyber Risk and Cyber Intelligence.
- Support incident response activities.
- Provide advice to internal departments on security issues.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in computer science with a specialization in IT security or relevant certification in the IT security sector (e.g., CAS, IS/MAS, IS, CISSP, CISA).
- Strong experience in security engineering, network knowledge, and familiarity with firewall and zone environments.
- Proficient knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, server, client, Azure, Microsoft 365).
- Experience in operating IT security solutions (EDR, NDR).
- Experience in the industrial environment is a plus.
- At least one of the following certifications: CRISC, CISSP, CISA.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including availability for on-site incidents during weekends.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Significant experience in the field of IT security.
- Personal traits: Hands-on mentality, flexibility, pragmatism, ability to interact on an equal footing, personable demeanor.
