Proclinical is seeking a Chief of Staff to support strategic alignment, operational excellence, and executive effectiveness within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on driving impactful initiatives, managing high-priority workflows, and leading special projects to ensure seamless execution across scientific and business operations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong scientific foundation with the ability to engage deeply in technical topics, particularly in oncology, chemistry, biology, engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, with knowledge of common equipment, infrastructure, and compliance.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana or Notion, with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Adaptability, humility, and a proactive mindset, with a willingness to take on tasks of all sizes.
The Chief of Staff's responsibilities will be:
- Drive strategic alignment by setting objectives, tracking progress, resolving bottlenecks, and delivering measurable outcomes across science, operations, and business functions.
- Enhance executive effectiveness by anticipating needs, managing critical workflows, preparing for key meetings, and providing thought partnership on technical, operational, and strategic decisions.
- Lead and execute special projects, including IT systems optimization, contingency planning, confidential analyses (e.g., budgeting, headcount, deal modeling), and process improvements.
