Biologist I

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Biologist I for a global biopharmaceutical company located in Worcester, MA. Successful candidate will work side-by-side with the team members to support lab activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform established assays: protein and cell binding ELISA, cell-based functional assays
• Flow cytometry (FACS Canto II); familiarity with FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, transfection/transduction of cells, cell line generation
• Human and animal blood processing and isolation of immune cell subsets
• Molecular biology skills including PCR, cloning, transformation, plasmid DNA purification, etc.
• Virology experience and tissue microarray experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills

Skills and Requirements:

• B.S./M.S. with 2+ years of research experience
• Hands on experience with protein and cell ELISA, Flow cytometry (FACS Canto II); FlowJo; GraphPad Prism
• Experience in mammalian cell culture and transfection/transduction, Human and animal blood processing and isolation of immune cell subsets, molecular biology skills including PCR, cloning, transformation, plasmid DNA purification, etc.
• Research experience in virology is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
