Proclinical is seeking a Biological Sample Manager to support human sample bank operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of biological sample handling and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical processes while advancing your career in the life sciences field.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in handling and managing human biological samples.
  • Familiarity with LIMS and maintaining accurate records.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as CLIA, CAP, GCP, GLP, GDPR, HIPAA, Common Rule, and HTA.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adhere to SOPs.
  • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

The Biological Sample Manager's responsibilities will be:

  • Receive, inspect, accession, archive, retrieve, label, package, and ship human biological samples.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sample intake, inspection, registration, quality control, archiving, and retrieval.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining equipment to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices, including CLIA, CAP, GCP, GLP, GDPR, HIPAA, Common Rule, and HTA.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality control of electronic patient and sample data files, as well as departmental records and reports, to meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to temperature excursions or equipment failures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
