Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Analytical Chemistry Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our R&D S&P Product Chemistry group. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our experimental plan, focusing on the development of a new low-cost electrochemical platform for the detection of nitrosating agents in raw materials. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and quality of our consumer healthcare products, and in upholding our commitment to Trusted Science.
Responsibilities
- Independently design and execute experiments using electrochemical instruments.
- Understand and apply basic analytical techniques.
- Document, analyze, and interpret scientific data.
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners and external consultants.
- Conduct scientific literature searches to assist work progression and understanding.
- Prepare presentations and documentation for work updates.
- Establish method protocol parameters such as precision, accuracy, linearity, range, specificity, and system suitability check.
- Operate other analytical techniques when needed, such as HPLC, UPLC, spectrofluorometer, etc.
Key Skills and Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree in Electrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field with emphasis on electrochemical studies.
- Hands-on experience with electrochemical workstation, CH Instrumentations, etc.
- Relevant research background in electrochemical studies.
- Experience with electroanalytical techniques (cyclic voltammetry, pulse and square-wave voltammetry, chronocoulometry, amperometry) is preferred.
- Self-motivated individuals who can bring critical thinking and creativity to solve complex scientific problems or unexpected technical challenges.
- Ability to contribute positively to a teamwork environment.
