Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Accessioner I. This role is integral to our team, focusing on preparing specimens for laboratory analysis and testing. Responsibilities:
- Unpacking, sorting, and verifying specimens received from couriers and law enforcement agencies.
- Labeling, aliquoting, and delivering samples to the appropriate testing area while maintaining chain-of-custody.
- Preparing both negative and positive in-house blinds.
- Determining specimen suitability based on established laboratory procedures.
- Resolving problem specimens and following procedures for specimen storage and disposal.
- Forwarding any misdirected specimen received.
- Entering orders and demographic information into the computer system.
- Maintaining and updating secure reporting instructions from clients and third-party administrators.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Key Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Experience handling various specimen types including blood, oral fluid, urine, and viral swabs in viral media or saline is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent data entry skills.
