UX/UI Director - Permanent - Remote

Proclinical is seeking a passionate and experienced Product UX/UI Director to lead the design and implementation of user experience across our software products. This is a remote permanent position.

Primary Responsibilities:

The role is crucial in ensuring our products are engaging, intuitive, and specifically tailored to meet the needs of our clinician users. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and a passion for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design, preferably in the healthcare or medical education industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design and a deep understanding of design principles.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The UX/UI Director will:

Develop and execute a comprehensive UX/UI strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
Conduct and oversee user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our clinician users and use these insights to inform design decisions.
Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across all products.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing UX/UI team while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Implement and oversee usability testing and feedback loops to continuously improve product designs.
Communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring buy-in and alignment across the organization.
Develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process.
