UX/UI Director - Permanent - Remote
Proclinical is seeking a passionate and experienced Product UX/UI Director to lead the design and implementation of user experience across our software products. This is a remote permanent position.
Primary Responsibilities:
The role is crucial in ensuring our products are engaging, intuitive, and specifically tailored to meet the needs of our clinician users. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and a passion for creating user-centered designs that enhance the overall user experience.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design, preferably in the healthcare or medical education industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design and a deep understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The UX/UI Director will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive UX/UI strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
- Conduct and oversee user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our clinician users and use these insights to inform design decisions.
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across all products.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing UX/UI team while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Implement and oversee usability testing and feedback loops to continuously improve product designs.
- Communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring buy-in and alignment across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process.
