Join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in ensuring UK VAT compliance within a leading pharmaceutical organisation.

Proclinical is seeking a UK VAT Accountant to join a dynamic team in Chester, UK. This role focuses on managing VAT compliance and reporting processes within the pharmaceutical industry. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between office and home-based work.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations.

Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

Collaborate with internal teams to provide VAT-related guidance and support.

Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

Assist in audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.

Maintain detailed records and documentation to support VAT filings.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Strong knowledge of UK VAT regulations and compliance processes.

Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry is advantageous.
