Are you ready to lead cutting-edge commercial operations and assist in accelerating clinical breakthroughs in biotech?
Proclinical is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations to drive data-led decision-making across commercial operations. In this role, you will develop and deliver business intelligence strategies, lead analytics projects, and translate complex data into actionable insights. This position requires a proactive approach to analytics, collaboration across teams, and the ability to influence decision-making through compelling narratives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business intelligence strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and external partners.
- Scope and manage analytics projects to integrate and analyze customer and market data from multiple sources.
- Maintain and enhance critical commercial tools and platforms, ensuring data quality and usability.
- Conduct advanced analyses to identify performance trends, optimize resource allocation, and improve sales force efficiency.
- Define, track, and communicate key metrics and indicators, maintaining dashboards and reporting for stakeholders.
- Deliver clear presentations and insight narratives to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, privacy standards, and data governance practices.
- Collaborate with IT and global analytics teams to build scalable data solutions and automate pipelines.
- Support forecasting, segmentation, and targeting initiatives using advanced modeling techniques.
- Partner with alliance and regional teams to harmonize definitions and enable consistent measurement.
- Establish analytics SOPs, playbooks, and standardized processes for dashboards and models.
- Identify issues, risks, and data gaps, recommending solutions and securing alignment across teams.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or relevant field.
- Proven experience leading commercial analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Hands-on expertise with CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Veeva CRM, PromoMats) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
- Familiarity with data modeling, automation practices, and methodologies for sales and marketing planning.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance principles.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrixed teams and influence without direct authority.
