Proclinical is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to oversee and optimize the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process for a portfolio of products in the DACH region. This role involves managing commercial relationships, contracts, and agreements with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, and driving operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in product launches, pricing strategies, and maintaining strong partnerships with healthcare organizations. This is a hybrid working position with estimated travel of 25%.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end OTC process, including contract setup, pricing, invoicing, and cash collection.
  • Monitor and improve key metrics such as order accuracy, billing accuracy, and contract compliance.
  • Lead procurement-level discussions to implement new commercial strategies, products, and pricing models.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, legal, finance, etc.) to ensure commercial strategies are executable.
  • Communicate the company's value proposition effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure payers can purchase products without restrictions from a contracting perspective.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including framework leads, contract managers, and service managers.
  • Refine and optimize contracting processes in the DACH region.
  • Stay updated on national healthcare structures and legislation changes to strengthen the business position.
  • Analyze purchasing processes, identify pain points, and streamline contracting pathways.
  • Develop accurate and consistent tender submissions in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Provide data and reporting on contract performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Address and resolve any commercial or operational issues within contracts.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Purchasing, Health Economics, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the hospital or pharmaceutical tender environment.
  • Background in process improvement and/or medical device business experience. - Strong knowledge of government standards and processes, particularly in Germany.
  • Expertise in tender and contract management.
  • Experience in financial and procurement stakeholder management within the medical device industry.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other computer tools.
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written).
