Proclinical is seeking a Network Manager to join a dynamic team focused on rare diseases. In this role, you will play a key part in raising disease awareness, supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs) in identifying patients with rare conditions, and facilitating access to life-changing therapies. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and engagement with HCPs across various specialties, including General Practitioners, Orthopedists, Neurologists, and Cardiologists. The initial focus will be on Friedreich's Ataxia, with the flexibility to adapt to other rare disease areas as business priorities evolve.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with HCPs to enhance patient identification for rare diseases.
  • Promote disease awareness, particularly for Friedreich's Ataxia, and support patient identification efforts.
  • Educate HCPs about therapy centers for rare diseases in coordination with Key Account Managers (KAM).
  • Increase knowledge of rare diseases among targeted HCP groups through direct engagement.
  • Communicate information about potential therapies and associated testing protocols.
  • Collaborate with KAMs to discuss results, treatment center availability, and strategic approaches.
  • Advocate for and implement omnichannel strategies to support disease awareness initiatives.
  • Contribute to market and customer insights in emerging therapeutic areas.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the rare disease market, HCP landscape, and patient journey.
  • Lead market research initiatives, including surveys and concept testing with HCPs.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in life sciences, economics, or qualification as a pharmaceutical representative (per Arzneimittelgesetz - AMG).
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse HCPs.
  • Experience in disease awareness initiatives and educational engagements is advantageous.
  • High learning agility to understand rare disease administration.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and handle risk and uncertainty effectively.
  • Proven experience working in a commercial team within a multifunctional environment.
  • Proficiency in independent customer planning and CRM systems.
  • Preferred experience in rare diseases.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
