Proclinical is seeking a Manager, Sales Training to support the development and success of a commercial sales team in the DACH region. This role focuses on enhancing sales capabilities through impactful training programs, field coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in equipping the team with the skills and tools needed to achieve commercial goals, with a strong emphasis on in-field coaching and sales strategy alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sales training programs focused on objection handling, negotiation, closing techniques, and competitive selling methodologies.
- Conduct regular field coaching visits, spending approximately 70% of your time in the field to assess and improve sales performance.
- Equip the sales team with tools and knowledge to drive product adoption and meet sales targets.
- Lead workshops and training sessions at regional and national meetings.
- Analyze sales KPIs to identify training needs and measure the impact of training initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales Directors and Marketing to align training programs with strategic objectives.
- Maintain and update sales training materials and manage training documentation.
- Support onboarding for new hires and provide ongoing development for experienced team members.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Experience in sales training within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of diabetes care and insulin pump therapy.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills in both in-person and virtual settings.
- Effective verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to evaluate performance data and translate insights into actionable training strategies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Clinical departments.
- Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the DACH region (approximately 70%).
