Specimen Technician - Contract - Onsite

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Specimen Technician to join an innovative laboratory. This is a contract role located in Cambridge, MA.

The Specimen Technician will:

Specimen Processing
Unpacking, sorting, and verifying of specimens received from couriers and law enforcement agencies.
Labels, aliquots, and delivers samples to appropriate testing area while maintaining chain-of-custody.
Prepares both negative and positive in-house blinds.
Data Entry
Enters orders and demographic information into the computer system.
Prepares both negative and positive in-house blinds.
Resolves problem specimens and follow procedures for specimen storage and disposal.
