Solution Architect - Zurich or Bern, Switzerland

Proclinical is currently supporting a Global Pharmaceutical business as they are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join their Global Hosting Team.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative technology solutions that align with the business objectives of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware technologies, particularly in automation with the vRealize Suite and VMware Aria.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, secure and automated solutions using VMware technologies, with a focus on vRealize Suite and VMware Aria with the aim of enhancing efficiency and streamline operations.
• Oversee the migration of workloads to public cloud platforms, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal performance.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; educational concentration in a computer-based or a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) is preferred.
• A deep understanding of VMware technologies, automation tools, and public cloud platforms.
• The ability to architect solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability and security.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members. Capable of providing technical leadership in project settings.
• Strong expertise in automation and orchestration of infrastructure and applications.
• Demonstrated success in migrating workloads to public cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge in creating process workflows and applying automation.
• Analyse resource requirements and usage and suggest options to optimize and cut costs.
