Software Tester

Proclinical are recruiting a Software Tester (m/f/x) for a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Baden-Wurttemberg. The client is focused on developing, manufacturing and delivering highly novel solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You will carry out manual tests, as well as exploratory if needed, and then document them.
• Systematise tests as well as test steps and supervise their implementation.
• Responsible for determining test data and plan them for the tests.
• The ideal candidate will examine needs and system descriptions there.
• Accountable for producing test cases and their specifications.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in business informatics, mathematics, physics, or similar field, or vocational training within informatics.
• Acquaintance with software testing, ideally in an agile setting as well.
• Familiarity with test automation would be preferable.
• A ISTQB certification is ideal.
• A background in individual software development in the machine-linked area such as sequence controls, data connections, process control systems, etc.
• Expertise on test management within Polarion or Azure Test Plans would be preferable.
• Familiarity in simulation-based testing would be preferable.
• An understanding individual who is quality conscious and creative.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Works well in a team setting.
• Fluency in both the German and English languages.
