Software Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a talented Software Engineer to play a pivotal role, you will be the Java expert, heading up a new project that plays a critical role in our mission. As the Java expert, you will be responsible for answering all Java-related inquiries and creating the roadmap and strategy for Java initiatives. Additionally, you will work with C# and .NET technologies, ensuring a comprehensive approach to software development and integration. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our software architecture in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• As a software engineer for a large IT system, you advise customers in ICT projects regarding ICT architecture (heavyweight software).
• Designing, developing and maintaining software applications, plugins and interfaces.
• Consulting/supporting the customer in defining software requirements.
• Creating mockups, models for data, functions and/or objects and developing prototypes.
• Responsible for analyzing and fixing software errors in productive applications.
• Assistance in carrying out integration and acceptance tests.

Tech Stack

• Good to very good knowledge of Java, Angular and AngularJS and/or C# and Visual Studio.
• Team player, committed personality who wants to help shape things and shows initiative.
• Willingness to work closely with system engineers in the context of our DevSecOps environment.
• Experience in virtualization and container technologies is an advantage.
• Very good oral/written knowledge of German and English (level B2/C1).
