Software Developer in Test (hybrid)

Proclinical are recruiting for a Software Developer in Test to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Bern.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside developers in evaluating unit test outcomes for coverage analysis.
• Guarantee that the test coverage and implementation of unit, integration, acceptance, regression, security and performance are met.
• Keep updated on the latest automation testing tools and practices.
• Responsible for automating acceptance test cases using the same coding languages as the developers.
• Evaluate the development code to form an efficient automation suite to cover technical and business integration automation coverage.
• You will be accountable for both black-box and white-box testing for features developed by an Agile team.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a computer science, software engineering or similar discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in software development or automation testing.
• Acquaintance with WinAppDriver, Selenium, Appium, or any other automation testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with C#, as well as agile software development strategies.
• Works well both independently as well as in a team.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in the English language with knowledge in either German or French.
