Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Project Manager for our Oncology R&D division. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to life-changing cancer therapies and work with a team that is driven by the goal to improve outcomes for those with unmet medical needs. Reporting directly to the Head of Project & Pipeline Management Department, you will lead Asset Development teams towards predefined objectives, ensuring program goals are met in scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Asset Development teams towards predefined objectives, ensuring program goals are met in scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence through effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Establish and maintain project and Asset Documentation (History File).
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, identifying objectives, strategy, risks and risk mitigation, effort estimates and schedule for new asset development.
  • Support the budgeting process of the business and manage projects within the allocated budget for the plan execution.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing program performance in collaboration with the Global Program Head and functional team leaders/representatives.
  • Provide mentorship and management to Project Management resources, fostering a safe, professional, and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Extensive experience in Oncology project direction within the pharmaceutical R&D industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulations governing new oncology product development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence team dynamics, and streamline product development processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Possession of a Project Management certification and experience working within a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model is preferred.
  • Master's degree/PhD in scientific disciplines and experience in product development with oncology IVD/CDx products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodology is preferred.
