Proclinical is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities within indirect categories such as technology, logistics, professional services, and MRO. This role focuses on managing procurement processes during and post carve-out activities, ensuring seamless transitions, cost optimization, and alignment with organizational goals. The position requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities:
- Support procurement activities related to carve-outs, including due diligence, planning, and execution.
- Ensure smooth transition and integration of systems and services during carve-out activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in indirect procurement categories.
- Implement strategies to optimize spend and enhance value.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supplier, contractual, and compliance risks.
- Collaborate with IT, automation, quality, finance, legal, and other departments to align procurement activities with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain procurement performance metrics and reports, providing insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor management.
- Proven experience in managing procurement aspects of business divestments, including planning and execution.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Leadership and team collaboration capabilities.
- Adaptable and resilient under pressure.
